PSNC consistently realizes the idea of metacomputer building. High performance computing, the number of solved problems and demand for specified computations type - these are the points which determine the computer system functionality. Because of the limited computing power, high performance computations cannot be realized on one computer system. It is also the advanced computation results visualization which requires specialized hardware systems. Such demands are satisfied by a metacomputer which contains several different, specialized and commonly managed computer systems. The user uses the metacomputer in a way which is similar to using a popular, single computer system.
